A SUPERSTORE has given a festive boost to a pair of local charities – but wants to hear from a third for which it has earmarked money.
The Tesco Extra store in Hollington, St Leonards, handed over £500 to both the Hastings RNLI and St Michael’s Hospice.
Graham Furness, second coxswain at the RNLI, and Julie Brett, fundraiser at the hospice, were delighted to receive the timely Christmas bonus.
However, staff at the store are appealing for the Bexhill Hospital League of Friends to come forward to claim a third donation.
Cat Jarvie, spokesman for Tesco, said: “I urge representatives to call my colleague Lauren on 01772 554 300, as we would love to make a £500 donation to the Friends too.”
