Teenager is attacked in vicious road rage incident in the town centre

A young driver was punched in the face in a road rage incident while driving in the town centre.

The 18-year-old was assaulted through an open car window in Queens Road last Thursday (Sept 18). The victim was driving north when the assault took place around 4pm. The incident started at Pelham Crescent Roundabout in Hastings and continued through the town centre with the victim’s car being blocked by the offender’s car at the top of Queens Road. He sustained damaged teeth. The suspect is described as white, aged 25 to 35, 5’9” to 5’11”, of slim build with brown eyes, short dark brown hair and stubble. He was wearing brown cargo style shorts and white socks. Witnesses can call 101 quoting serial 1059 of 18/9.
