SUSSEX Coast College’s Station Plaza campus transformed into a gallery this week, with a showcase of work from A Level, Diploma and Degree level artists.

A record number of visitors flocked to the private view on Friday, to peruse diverse works across a wide range of media, including animation, painting, photography, installation, drawing, printmaking and craft practices.

Head of Art at the college, Martin Symons said: “As ever, our students have explored a range of media to capture their ideas. This show has been varied and captivating: the talent and potential of these young artists shines through. These students are constantly developing their skills, which is inspiring to see.”

A number of students graduating from courses at the college have already gained work in the industry, whilst others have been offered places at prestigious art colleges, such as Goldsmiths, Kingston and St Martins.

Places are still available on courses for next year. To find out more contact the college on 01424 458300, visit www.sussexcoast.ac.uk/arts, email amsmith@sussexcoast.ac.uk
