Star trekingthe night away for kids charity
Horsham-based children's charity Action Medical Research is on the hunt for teams of tenacious walkers to take part in an overnight endurance challenge next summer.
Trek the Night South Downs Way on July 15- 16, 2017 is a charity walk but don’t be fooled as teams need their stamina and wits about them to navigate through the darkness as they push on to watch the sun rise and steam ahead through the following day. Setting out at midnight on Saturday, July 15 from Devil’s Dyke near Brighton, the 40-mile route ends on Beachy Head, Eastbourne on Sunday afternoon. Walkers can also tackle the trek solo. If the distance seems too far, there’s an alternative 20 mile ‘Lite’ version.
