The final performance of the Stade Saturdays programme will take place tomorrow (Saturday).
The free event starts at 7.30pm on the Stade Open Space and will feature the Afro Cuban band Grupo Lokito.
Councillor Peter Chowney, the council’s lead member for regeneration, said: “This year’s Stade Saturdays season packed full of free events has once again been truly excellent. With music, dance, food and theatre events, there really has been something for everyone.
“A blend of Kinshasa and Havana from the Afro Cuban band, Grupo Lokito will provide the entertainment this Saturday. Its fusion of contemporary Congolese Soukous, Cuban Salsa and hot African dance spiced with Afro Cuban rhythms will surely get everyone up and dancing - a fitting way to end the Stade Saturdays season.
“Make the most of the evening by attending the African/Latin dance workshop on Saturday afternoon from 2pm at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery where Sharadarae Kasumu will teach you a mix of these great dance styles.”
