VANDALS targeted a string of parked vehicles during the night.
An ambulance minibus had a glass door smashed and a blue Peugeot had two windows broken in Bohemia Road opposite the ambulance station in Hastings overnight on Friday December 28 and into the early hours of Saturday 29 December. Also that night, from the middle of Southwater Road to Woodland Vale Road, four vehicles had their wing mirrors smashed off and up to 12 other vehicles had their wing mirrors pushed back the wrong way.
A 23-year-old man from St Leonards was arrested nearby on suspicion of criminal damage but later released without any further action.
PC Ella Bigsby said: “It looks as though the suspect or suspects have walked from Hastings town centre damaging vehicles on their way to St Leonards. They have either smashed or kicked off the wing mirrors or kicked them the wrong way.
“Anyone who saw the incidents or anyone acting suspiciously, should phone Sussex Police on 101.”
