MEMBERS of the public are invited to join the East Sussex Drink Debate to assess the impact of alcohol on the lives of people in the county.
It is an East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership consultation, and the results will be used by the East Sussex Drug and Alcohol Action Team in drafting the East Sussex Alcohol Harm Reduction Strategy.
The partnership, including East Sussex County Council, Sussex Police, and district and borough councils, wants to hear people’s views on alcohol and what they would like to see to help deal with alcohol-related problems.
Anyone who lives or works in East Sussex can get involved, with those under the age of 25, parents of youngsters and those living in areas affected by alcohol-related problems, particularly welcome.
The consultation ends on June 14. To take part complete an online survey at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/eastsussexdrinkdebate, join a focus group or attend a walk-up event, details of which are on the website.
