Seven suspected illegal immigrants, including three children, were arrested in St Leonards yesterday (Wednesday, May 11) but police are still looking for another four.

Police were called to Castleham Industrial Estate where a number of people were reported to have jumped off a lorry and run off.

The alarm was raised at around 1pm when the lorry pulled over in Stirling Road and the group, including children, emerged from the side curtains of the vehicle.

Police arrested the group on suspicion of illegally entering the UK but are looking for another four people who may have left the area in a taxi.

Enquiries are continuing to establish if there are any further people involved.
