Security cameras for church to deter anti-social activity

NEW security equipment is to be installed at the Sonrise Church, in Chapel Park Road, St Leonards, in an effort to deter night-time anti-social behaviour.

Concerns were raised at the most recent Gensing ward panel meeting, attended by PC Nick Bellhouse and PCSO Andy Hubbard.

Working with the Gensing and Central St Leonards Forum, the officers were able to provide a number of security cameras for the site.

PC Bellhouse said: “This issue was raised at the recent ward panel meeting for Gensing, and was adopted as a priority.

“We are delighted that working together with our community partners, we have been able to reach a solution.”
