THIS three bedroom bungalow is proof you should always read the small print.
The semi-detached home on The Ridge boasts front and rear gardens, gas central heating and is near to local schools. A bargain then at just £99,950.
However, tucked right at the bottom of the bumf handed out by estate agents PCM, underneath a glowing round up of the house’s benefits is the alarm bell-ringing line: “Agents Note: There is an electricity pylon in the rear garden.”
And as this picture shows, the pylon might just get in the way of the sea views advertised in the sellers’ leaflet.
In fact, the home might be better suited to someone with a penchant for electricity production because the house is smack bang opposite a power station.
The home’s last owner recently passed away and the sale is being handled by a team of lawyers - with PCM saying the firm had already had lots of interest.
The estate agents website admits that the property requires some modernisation. Perhaps solar panels might be a good place to start.
And if all else fails, you could always retire to the garden shed and draw the curtains.
