Sainsburys Bexhill, Hastings and District Veterans Association
The chairman welcomed the members to the February meeting and offered best wishes to all those who had a birthday during the month.
He then introduced the speaker for the afternoon: Valerie Jenner. She gave a very interesting and in-depth talk on her career in the millinary trade.
She went on to explain how various hats were designed and made and was happy to answer the members questions at the end.
The ladies of Bexhill provided the refreshments and were thanked by the chairman. The meeting finished with the raffle and bingo.
The next meeting is on March 12th at the St. Peters Hall when the speaker will be from the Saga group.
The next bowling afternoon is on Thursday 26 march at 2pm at the Ravenside centre.
