Primary school leads on ‘Olympic values’

A PROJECT which will see young people working with primary schools to develop Olympic ideals was launched on Tuesday (November 15) at Churchwood school, in St Leonards.

The Flames Project, funded by the British Heart Foundation, and hosted by Hastings Borough Council, is focused on the ideals of determination, friendship, courage, respect, and excellence.

Students from William Parker Sports College, and Sussex Coast College will work with local primary schools, The launch event was attended by Anna Graham from the British Heart Foundation, Mayor Kim Forward, and Deputy Mayor Alan Roberts.
