ANDREW IVES (Labour): I worked as a Royal Mail postman, but have now become a carer for my wife. I have five children and have lived in the area for the last 42 years.
I have been meeting the residents of Conquest ward for six months and have helped many with the issues they are facing. People who live on the outskirts of the town want a voice and they don’t feel they are getting this currently.
The Conquest Hospital brings many challenges for residents. I will work with the hospital management to alleviate the pressure – especially on parking – to the local population.
