HASTINGS and Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind (HRVAB) has received a donation of £150 from police towards a CCTV system.
The money will go towards the St Leonards-based organisation’s purchase of a CCTV system to protect their parked mini buses from damage.
Terry Novis from HRVAB said: “We are very grateful for the help. The minibuses are integral for our delivery of a high standard of care for our residents and the CCTV will help protect them.”
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund, whereby the proceeds of crime are redistributed to local good causes.
