A CHILDREN’S playgroup has received more than £100 worth of new toys, thanks to police.
PCSO Jill Croft, together with Jackie Gaunt and staff from Broomgrove Playdays, applied for money from the Police Property Act fund, which redirects the proceeds of crime to good causes and projects within the community.
The fund came up with £150 towards the cost of supplying some new outdoor toys for the children to use in the summer.
PCSO Croft said: “I’m pleased that we were able to help Jackie, and her team, as they work tirelessly in the community to make a difference. This outdoor play equipment will be great for the children of Playdays.”
