A fresh band of snow is falling across the South East today (Sunday) with at least 1 - 2 centimetres likely and the possibility of up to 8cms in places.

The Met office has issued a Yellow Warning for ice, with fresh snow falling on already icy roads creating hazards.

Temperatures will struggle to get up to freezing today but are expected to rise slightly on Monday.

Police are warning motorists to take extra care when driving.
