TUNEFUL children sang their hearts out to celebrate the launch of a new musical club.

More than 30 youngsters enjoyed dancing, had fun playing the tamborine and other instruments, and raised the roof by singing nursery rhymes at Ore Community Centre on Tuesday.

Little Quavers Singalong is mainly for toddlers during term-time but all children are welcome to join in during the school holidays.

Victoria White, who runs the group, said: “We had lots of children come on Tuesday and they really enjoyed themselves.”

Little Quavers Singalong meets on Tuesdays from 9.15am to 10.45am at Ore Community Centre, every other Thursday from 1.15pm to 2.45pm at Ore Christchurch and every Friday during term-time from 1.30pm to 3pm at Sacred Heart School.

All venues are in Old London Road.

Cost is £2 for the first child and £1 for siblings. Contact Victoria White on 07891 770306.
