JOHN Staples from Eastbourne gave us an informative and comical commentary as he judged our second digital image competition. The following were declared winners in a strong field of entries:

General- Rifleman - Tony Sharp; Candid - Naughty but nice - James Ball; Digital art - Mosaic - Cazina Bromley; Portraits - Pretty zombies - Kevin Whiting; Landscape - Meadow - Mary Wilkinson; Flora and Fauna - Michael Goodsell; Autumn maple - Colin Dengate and Damselfly, by Annette Barton.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday, November 26 at 7.45pm is entitled Working in Panels. We meet at Park Road Methodist Church Hall, Upper Park Road, St Leonards. New members are warmly welcomed. More details on our website at www.ore-st-helens.co.uk.
