Ore and St Helen’s Camera Club

NEIL Oakman, our digital secretary, came to the rescue during our third print competition, completing an admirable job in judging more than 70 prints. We had arranged a judge who failed to attend.

In the General section Neil considered the folllowing as winners: Watch Tower - Tony Sharp; I’ve Got My Eyes On You - James Ball and Chain Reaction - Gilda Pass.

Les Kinch won the Candid section with The Piper while Les Kinch took honours with Little Elm in Digital Art. Landscape winners were Shane Stanbridge - Sunset Under The Pier and Tony Sharp - Five Finger Mountain. Geof Gage had double success in Portrait with John and Amanda as Shane Stanbridge - Sitting Pretty; Mike Mynett - Hibiscus and Colin Rendle - Feral Kittens won Flora and Fauna.

Our next meeting is our Digital Image of the Year contest. We meet at Park Road Methodist Church Hall, Upper Park Road, St Leonards on Tuesday, April 2 at 7.45pm. New members are always welcome. More details on our website at www.ore-st-helens.co.uk.
