For its annual fund raising concert to support Hastings and Rother Voluntary Association for the Blind, Opera South East is throwing a party celebrating the anniversaries of the births of several major opera Composers, on June 11.
Verdi and Wagner were both born in 1813, Mascagni in 1863 and Benjamin Britten in 1913. Therefore it gives the company the perfect excuse to perform many choruses that they are unlikely to perform in a full production.
Join them on Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, in Robertson Street, Hastings, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £7.50 from 01424 436359 or on the door.
