THOUSANDS of people are lining the streets of Eastbourne to catch a glimpse of the Olympic Torch.

People are standing on driveway posts in order to get a better view, cheering and waving flags.

Keira and Amy Brown, aged 11 and 10, are pictured with their dad Roy outside the Queen’s Hotel.

The girls go to Stone Cross Primary School and had the afternoon off to watch the fantastic spectacle.

Dad Roy Brown said, “We whipped them out of school at 12 o clock because they are never going to see anything like this again.

“It’s a great opportunity that will probably never happen again. It certainly won’t happen again in my lifetime.”
