The Old Town Carnival Week Bike Race, which was due to take place this evening (Tuesday, August 2), has been postponed.

The event was due to take place in Crown Lane, off All Saints Street, from 5.30pm until dusk.

The race has been moved to Sunday (August 7), but will start at the same time and at the same location.

All will be made welcome on Sunday - just turn up and pay a donation to the starter.

It is not advisable to bring dogs to this event and young children should be under adult supervision.

Tush and Pat’s famous Fishermen’s Rolls will be available at the Bike Race.

A collection will take place in aid of local charities and good causes.
