A NEW gallery has opened in the heart of St Leonards giving local artists the chance to put themselves in the picture.
And one of the first to show off his work in the Kave Gallery in King’s Road will be lifelong photographer Bob Mazza.
Bob, who has lived in St Leonards for 25 years, will be showing off a collection of his work in the Autumn.
As part of the Brighton Photo Fringe, Bob will show off a dozen of his people pictures taken over the last 20 years.
The photos have all been taken in and around the Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and even Camber.
They feature a collection of people from all backgrounds including shots such as a man walking bare chested along the seafront with a lizard on his chest.
Bob said: “I just love taking pictures of people.
“Their faces say so much and the picture tells a thousand words. It’s great that local people will have a chance to see them.” The exhibition runs from October 28 to November 11 and is free.
London artist Indigo Star is currently exhibiting her paintings, sculptures and cast iron work until September.
