PETER Pan gets ready to fly to Hastings for this year’s swashbuckling pantomime adventure at the White Rock Theatre.

George Reeve joins the cast in the title role.

George graduated from the prestigious Laine Theatre arts in 2011 and has since appeared in several pantomimes including Jack and the Beanstalk, and has travelled to Tokyo Disneyland where he performed in their head lining show One Man’s Dream II, The Magic Lives On. After returning to England George was involved in the UK Premiere production of Cole Porters ‘Jubilee’ at the Tabard Theatre, London.

He said: “For most children Steeping into a theatre to watch a panto can be their first time watching a show. I love seeing the children’s faces as the story comes to life in front of them. Nothing beats the audience participation when they boo the baddy and cheer the hero.”

George had the following advice for anyone thinking of going into show business: “It’s not an easy profession, there is a lot of competition.

“However, it can be very rewarding.

“For younger children I would suggest that they join a local stage group or theatre club which can offer a good grounding in theatre skills and experience of performing.”

Meet George in person at the free Storytelling event held at the theatre on November 17 from 11am until 2pm as part of the Hastings Storytelling Festival. For Call 01424 462288 or visit whiterocktheatre.org.uk.
