Firefighters will be hosting a multi-agency open day at Bexhill Community Fire Station tomorrow (Saturday, September 19).

The event will see East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service joined by Sussex Police, South East Coast Ambulance, The Red Cross and other partner agencies to talk to the public about a number of topics including road and domestic safety.

There will be a variety of fire trucks and demonstrations on show including a rope rescue and a road traffic collision and the chance for people to have a go at some basic first aid scenarios.

Entertainment will be available for children including face painting and the ever popular Firehouse will be there allowing them the opportunity to use a fire hose.

There will also be stalls to browse and refreshments on sale.

The event starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm.
