Police are concerned for the welfare of a 16-year-old boy who was last seen in St Leonards yesterday (Sunday, March 5).

Reece Pateman is likely to be using public transport, in particular the train network, police said.

“Reece has a fascination with buses and trains and has previously been found at railway stations in Sussex,” a police spokesman said.

“He could have potentially travelled to Lewes, Gatwick or further afield in London and also has links to Peacehaven.”

Reece is described as white, 5’ 3”, of large build, with short ginger hair and blue eyes.

He was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue anorak and trainers.

Anyone who has seen Reece or knows of his whereabouts is asked to report online at www.sussex.police.uk/contact-us/response-to-appeal or call police on 101, quoting serial 1111 of 05/03.
