Man suffers head injury after Hastings assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a man on Sunday (July 12).

The victim, in his 20s, was arguing with a woman when the assault took place in Robertson Street at 3.10am.

He suffered a head injury and was treated at the Conquest Hospital, St Leonards, before being allowed home.

Police are specifically appealing for the victim to come forward. He is believed to be of East European descent.

He, or anyone else who saw the incident, is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or phone 101, quoting serial 244 of 12/7.

Alternatively witnesses can contact he independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
