Man hands over phone after being threatened

A MAN handed over his mobile phone after being threatened by three men as he walked home in the early hours.

The 43-year-old victim was walking through Wallangers Walk path around 3am on Sunday when he was approached.

The footpath runs between Castle Hill Road and Wellington Road in Hastings.

The men threatened him and demanded his mobile phone.

After he had handed over a Huawei Ideos phone they left, walking back towards the town centre.

The offenders are described as between 20 to 30-years-old, of slim build and with southern accents. One of the offenders is described as having his face covered with a dog tooth patterned scarf and wearing a fawn or light coloured hooded top.
