Man arrested over racially aggravated comments

A 21-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on suspicion of making racially aggravated comments after an incident in Morrisons supermarket.

The man, who had previously been banned from the store in Queens Road, was found to be shopping there on Saturday, March 23, at 1.15pm.

He was being escorted out of the shop by security guards when he allegedly made the comment.

The Hastings man was interviewed and released on bail until May 4.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
