STAGECOACH has donated promotional space on the back of one of its buses to support the St Michael’s Hospice Lottery.
Staff and volunteers from the hospice joined Stagecoach employees to get the first view of the design which promotes the charity’s weekly lottery which, since its launch in 1997, has raised more than £3million to support the specialist palliative care provided to both patients and their families in Hastings and Rother.
Hospice lottery manager Pat Hawkins thanked Stagecoach managing director Phil Medlicott and his team for their support.
She said: “As the hospice celebrates its 25th year, we hope that we can encourage more people to play our lottery which offers a first prize of £2,000 each week.
“It’s a fantastic way of supporting the hospice and each draw awards 105 players a cash prize. To find out about joining our lottery or purchasing gift vouchers, please call us on 01424 456384 or visit our website at stmichaelshospice.com.”
The bus advert will be visible to thousands of passengers, pedestrians and drivers as it travels throughout Hastings and Rother.
