ST MICHAEL’S Hospice is calling out for people throughout Hastings and Rother to join them for their annual Yellow Day, which is taking place on Friday, March 28.
For the past eight years, local schools, colleges, nurseries and companies have been taking part in the event on behalf of the St Leonards-based charity.
Emma Bailey, spokeswoman for the hospice, said: “Anyone can play their part in Yellow Day by simply making a donation of just £1 to our mufti day collection.
“You can also try other imaginative ways of raising money such as wearing a yellow hat, baking yellow cakes, or starting a sunflower competition. This year the hospice plans to sell crocheted yellow flower brooches for £1 which have been lovingly hand made by our supporters. If you would like to take part in this year’s Yellow Day please call Amanda on 01424 456371 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.”
