EVER wanted to learn how to fly a model aircraft?
You’ll have the chance next Saturday (June 21), 10am until 2pm, at Bulverhythe Recreation Ground.
The 1066 Model Flying Club is celebrating its new flying field with a public open day for all the family. First have a go with the Simulator Training System, then - weather permitting - flying instructors will help you to really fly a model, with a dual control aircraft training system. How to get there: Coming west along Bexhill Road (A259) from Central Hastings go past Harley Shute Road, then just after you pass Bulverhythe Road on the left, there’s a small car park entrance on the right.
After parking (it’s free), walk north across the playing field boundaries and through the gap in the far trees. You’re now on the flying field.
