Two women arrested in fight

A TEENAGE girl and a 24-year-old woman were arrested following a fight in Hastings town centre involving four women in the early hours .

Police were called to Claremont around 2.10am.

All the women suffered minor injuries in the incident just after leaving The Pig in Paradise pub in White Rock.

They are all described as aged in their late teens to early 20s.

Two are white and 5ft 5ins tall in height.

One was wearing a black top with jeans and had brown shoulder length hair.

The other was wearing a fur hooded parker jacket and also had brown hair.

The other two women are described as mixed race.

One is 5ft 8ins tall in height, of medium build and was wearing a blue jumper with blue jeans and had afro-style hair tied back.

The other was wearing chequered jeans, a waist length coat and had straight shoulder length black hair.

Police constable Dan Moss said: “Police would like anyone who saw the incident outside the Pig in Paradise to come forward and assist us with our enquiries”

A 17-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, from Hastings, were both arrested on suspicion of affray.

It is not believed any of the women required hospital treatment. They were both questioned and bailed until Monday, 26 May.
