Thugs sprayed a man in the eyes with a substance in broad daylight in a busy road leaving him requiring hospital treatment.
The 33-year-old victim was attacked in Battle Road, St Leonards between 5pm and 5.30pm on August 5.
The victim was treated at Conquest Hospital after being punched and sprayed in the eyes with an unknown substance and sustaining injuries to his face and arm. There are believed to be three suspects.
The first suspect is described as a white man, aged 28 to 29, 5’7” and of large build with very short brown hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with short sleeves and dark trousers.
The second suspect is described as a white man, aged 28 to 29, 5’7” and of thin build with short blonde hair. He was wearing blue T-shirt.
The third suspect is described as a white man, aged 28 to 29, 5’7” and of thin build and with short blonde hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a football shirt.
