Zac, 20, and his friends Nick Watkins, 21 and Ben Davy, 21 are students at the University of Brighton Hastings Campus. Zac is studying media and education, Nick is studying for a degree in computing while Ben is studying TV production.
The trio founded Bubbleboys last December and work around the clock balancing the business and their studies especially as they are all now in their final year. They bought 30 bubbles from China and a van and started offering their games to friends and family at first.
“It’s a bit like human dodgems,” said Zac. “Everybody loved it. We started contacting stag do companies and now we have four different contracts. We really want to get into the corporate markets and we’re booked up right until the end of the year. I think the market is strong enough to support us all when we leave university. It has been pretty hard trying to run the business and complete our university work but we’re determined to make it a success.”
