STUDENTS from St Leonards Academy have been delivering water conservation workshops at Churchwood, Robsack Wood and West St Leonards Academy Primary Schools.
Working with years 3 and 4, the students, who were part of the St Leonards Academy Aqua Innovations team, built water butts.
Chris Hooke, teacher at St Leonards Academy, said the workshop at West St Leonards Academy Primary was vibrant and that it was great to see the St Leonards students helping the younger pupils.
Jessica Baker, student at the St Leonards Academy, said: “I feel that the Aqua Innovations team has benefitted from working with the primary school children. What they learned should be passed on to parents.”
