An anti-roads protestor has locked himself onto a vehicle belonging to one of the contractors helping to build the £100m Bexhill-Hastings Link Road (BHLR), near Adam’s Farm in Crowhurst.

Chainsaw wielding contractors were prevented from felling trees at the site on Friday (14 Dec) after activists occupied the trees.

Trees were felled at a second site in Bexhill yesterday (Sat 16 Dec) and this morning, admidst further peaceful protest. Two protestors were arrested yesterday.
