THE county’s police and crime commissioner will be Hastings again next Tuesday (April 8) to meet with residents at Broomgrove Community Centre.
Katy Bourne is attending a meeting organised by councillor Mike Turner at the Chiltern Drive venue from 6pm to 8pm.
She said: “I am delighted to be visiting Hastings again to talk with local residents about their experiences and views on local policing and crime in the area.
“Having recently visited the St Leonards area one of the key points I took away was the reassurance to see that people do care so much about their local community and are willing to work together to make it safer. It is also vital that partners, including Sussex Police work with the members of the local communities in order to encourage a more enjoyable environment for people to live, work and visit.
“Please come along and have a chat. This is a great opportunity for you to tell me about any local policing and crime issues in your area and to find out more about my role as your police and crime commissioner.”
