CALLING all women: have you got a favourite photograph, memory, or an object that tells a story?
If you have, why not come along to Hastings Museum on Tuesday (April 29), from 10am to noon where you can find out how to use creative writing, ceramics and textiles to tell a story. Children are welcome.
Hosted by Hastings Women’s Voice, the event at the museum marks the start of a new project in which women are invited to contribute to making a Women’s Pop-Up Museum that will go on display. Following the event, the project will continue through May offering a series of creative workshops, at which women are invited to tell their stories through words, photographs, and objects.
Events are open to all women free of charge, and help with transport and transport is available. To book a place or for more information ring Gill Knight on 07854 486794 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
