Man attacked by gang

A MAN walking his dog was attacked by a gang of three teenagers in St Leonards.

The 52-year-old victim was walking past Roosevelt Court in Stonehouse Drive at about 3.45pm on Sunday, February 16 when he was set upon.

The teenagers knocked him to the ground and repeatedly punched and kicked him in the face and body. He suffered cuts and bruises.

The first attacker was white, 16 to 19 and 5ft 11ins to 6ft 2ins tall. He was of average build and had short black hair. He wore a black hooded top and blue jeans.

The second attacker was white, aged 16 to 19 and 5ft 5ins to 5ft 7ins tall. He was of average build and had light brown or blonde hair and a light beard.

He was wearing a beige hoodie top, dark knee-length shorts and trainers and a baseball cap with a motif on it.

The third attacker was white, also aged 16 to 19 and 5ft 5ins to 6ft tall. He was of average build and had short brown hair. He wore a black hoodie with a light motif on the left breast, a white t-shirt and blue jeans.”

PC Dan Moss said: “This was a particularly nasty and vicious unprovoked assault.”
