OUR video shows Sussex police and crime commissioner Katy Bourne meeting with police and members of the public in Hastings town centre on Wednesday (August 28).
Based at the police box, which was recently created by the Safer Hastings Partnership, Mrs Bourne talked to people in the town about their thoughts and experiences of policing and crime in the county.
Speaking to the Hastings Observer, Mrs Bourne said: “I want residents to know I am an accessible commissioner and a strong voice for local people in the fight against crime. I want people to tell me their priorities – what matters to them and what I can do to make people feel safer in Sussex.
“I want to meet as many local people as possible but I would also encourage residents to contact me through my website, by telephone 01273 481561 and email: firstname.lastname@example.org, to have their say.”
