Hospice celebrates life with colour

Have your say

St Michael’s Hospice is holding a ‘Colour the Coast’ event on Sunday 3rd August. The event has 700 hospice supporters on the streets of Hastings showing their support.

Runners pass through four colour zones with helpers showering them with a safe coloured powder which will be cleaned up afterwards.

As runners complete the course, the colours build to become a picture. Runners and spectators are invited to a finish line party at the Stade beach where everyone will throw powder into the sky to create a colour cloud celebrating life.

James Beeching, of St Michaels Hospice said: “We start at the Stade Beach at 11.15am and end up back at the Stade for the after party from 12-4pm.
