HASTINGS Rock Radio will once again fill the local airwaves next month.
The station is on air between May 3 and May 30 and is celebrating its 21st year of broadcast to the town and surrounding areas.
This year the station is returning to what is described by many as its spiritual home at The Robert De Mortain pub, on The Ridge.
Hastings Rock will once again be broadcasting its unique interactive mix of audience participation and good rock music 24 hours a day.
Tony Bell, chairman, said: “The station is now an institution in Hastings. We still have much work to do, so please help support our goal to make this year the biggest and best ever, and tell everyone you come into contact with.”
Some of the work that still needs to be done includes securing support from local businesses in the form of advertising.
The station is not-for-profit, run entirely by volunteers and therefore relies on local support to keep the broadcast going each year.
Any businesses wishing to support the station can ring Wendy on 07971 641271 for more details.
More information about the forthcoming broadcast can be found on www.hastingsrock.co.uk or the Hastings Rock page on Facebook.
