Hastings man arrested following blinded assault victim's plea

A Hastings man has been arrested in connection with an assault outside a pub which left the victim partially blinded.

Following his plea, a 45-year-old man from the town has now been arrested on suspicion of GBH and remains in police custody.

A 48-year-old man from St Leonards has already been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been bailed until June 19 while investigations continue.

Police are looking to speak to the Hell’s Angels’ Sussex chapter president following the attack on Pelham Street at around midnight on Saturday, February 20.
