Peers in Partnership manager Carla Hawkins said: “With East Sussex County Council having £40million less to spend on adult social care services by March, 2019, it’s a critical time for mental health services as funding decisions are being made.

“Our event on the 25th is an opportunity for people to have their say about what support they need.

“We want to ensure that the experiences and opinions of people living with mental health challenges are heard and taken into account when developing services for the future.”

Peers in Partnership, run by Southdown Housing Association and funded by the Joint Commissioning Unit on behalf of East Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group, work with people affected by mental health to improve mental health and wellbeing services across East Sussex.
