A FREE business enterprise seminar is to be held on Monday, December 9, at the University of Brighton’s Hastings campus, as part of a series of events to celebrate the university’s 10th year in Hastings.
Local business owners and entrepreneurs are invited to listen to the latest thinking on overcoming challenges faced by small businesses locally in the current climate which include finance availability, how to develop a businesses and how to grow beyond a start-up.
Guest speakers are industry experts and business students studying at Hastings campus. These include Professor Aidan Berry, Dean of Brighton Business School, Dr George Tsekouras, Principal Research Fellow at CENTRIM, Brighton Business School (founder and lead academic of the ProfitNet network) and local entrepreneur Sonia Blizzard of Beaming Ltd, part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The event will run from 5 to 9pm and refreshments will be provided, along with opportunities to discuss and network with other local business entrepreneurs.
