Exhibition on street lighting changes

THE latest exhibition on street light changes in Hastings will be held in Braybrooke ward.

The event will give people in the area the opportunity to find out more about the switch from old-style orange and yellow lights to modern, energy-efficient white LED lanterns.

It will be held at St Mark’s United Reformed Church Hall, in Hughenden Place, on Saturday, June 14 from 9am to noon.

People will have the chance to put their questions and comments to members of East Sussex County Council’s street lighting team. More details on the changeover are available online at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/streetlights, by visiting Hastings Library, in Claremont, or by calling 01273 337162.
