DETECTIVES have released a second photography of a Hastings man whose battered body was found on the seafront at Hove.
Lee Williams, 45, was found under an archway where he had been sleeping rough on February 11.
He had been beaten around the head and face with a blunt instrument.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who remembers his last movements in Hove.
They have now issued this image of Mr Williams wearing glasses.
Detective chief inspector Ian Pollard who is leading the investigation said: “Lee regularly wore glasses as shown in this photograph which significantly changes his appearance.
“I’m hoping that by releasing this photo it may jog some people’s memory who perhaps saw him in the days leading up to his death.
“We are following up on several sightings from members of the public who have recently called in but we need more people to come forward and help us find Lee’s killer. If you recognise him from this second picture then please call 101 quoting Op Depot or alternatively leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
