EAST Sussex Recovery Alliance (ESRA) held an open day just before Christmas to promote the services it offers.
The organisation was set up in 2012 to offer support to people in recovery from substance and/or alcohol addiction by means of peer-led support groups, activities and community-based initiatives.
All ESRA’s members have had or been affected by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.
The event, held on December 20, was held at the ESRA office in HVA in Portland Place. Members were able to share information and build on the working relationships already formed with other services, agencies and community groups.
ESRA will be reopening on Monday (January 6), together with its women’s group, friendship group, men’s group, and Smart group (Self-Management and Recovery Training). Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
