The popular Hastings based Melodians Choir has raised more than £625 after holding three concerts in aid of St Michael’s Hospice this summer.

The three concerts, which took place at St Peter and St Paul Church, St Clements Church and Church in the Wood, entertained audiences with an eclectic mix of classical, pop, folk and show tunes.

Community fundraiser Amanda Hildreth said; “We are so proud of the Melodians Choir who has been raising funds solely for St Michael’s Hospice for nearly 20 years with an amazing £14,875 donated to date.

“Its concerts are always a wonderful mixture of beautiful music and songs with lots of fun and laughter too.

“We would like to say a very big thank to the Melodians Choir for its support.”

An independent charity, the hopsice has cared for more than 12,500 people with life limiting illnesses in the local area since 1987.
